Inorganic Chemicals Export From China to Russia in 2014-20182019.03.15

According to the Russia Customs, Russia imported 1.54 million MT of inorganic chemicals from China in 2014-2018, and the accumulated trade value is 1.62 billion USD during this period.

From 2014 to 2016, the Russia’s import amount of inorganic chemicals from China has dropped a little, decreasing by 28%. But after that it has seen a steady growth in 2016-2018.

The trade volume of the inorganic chemicals import from China also showed similar trend from 2014 to 2018. In the five years, Russia imported 1.54 million MT of inorganic chemicals from China, decreasing by 16%.

In the last five years, the fluoride, hydrogen and inert gases, pypocholoride, phosphinates, synthetic diamond and aluminium oxide account for a large proportion in the total import trade value with the share at 14.8%, 7.6%, 6.6%, 6.1%, and 5.9% respectively.

In general, inorganic chemicals are mainly exported to these regions in Russia: Moscow, St.Petersburg, Irkutsk region, Krasnoyarskiy Kray and Sverdlovsk region. These cities account for 17.9%, 11.5%, 10.9%, 10.4%, and 4.8% respectively.
